Not much has been going on lately. I mean, I guess I did go to Mexico for a week and a half, which I enjoyed. But otherwise things have been pretty uneventful. It's been nice. Even the weather has been ordinary--nice and autumny!
I did buy a new camera lens, a big one. And haven't tested it out much yet, but I did test it a bit and got this picture:
I bought a paperback copy of "The Thursday Murder Club." I don't buy a lot of physical books, but I just wanted to buy a book and that one seemed really good. (It was). I think now I will buy the rest of them.
I made passionfruit mousse, and this might be a very dangerous thing to know how to do. It was a hit though. It's passionfruit, so pretty hard to go wrong.
I know a lot of things are really unsettled right now on a bigger, macro scale and so it feels kind of odd to feel like things are in a lull on such a micro level. But here we are. Existence can be pretty hum drum and simultaneously a whirlwind of panic and doom. What larks!
